This month is dedicated to bring you a special post. Although Halloween and the Harvest parties are just round the corner, today, I am blogging about the 'other' topic that is on our minds for October. October is known as the Breast Cancer Awareness month and it is full of all-in-pink walks, runs, benefits and events all over the Globe for this important cause. Many of those who organize events, create special websites dedicated to people fighting this disease or celebrating a loved one’s successes along the way. So we wanted to provide YOU with yet another FREEBIE set this week to help with that!
Breast cancer is something all women despite of age, sex, nationality and social status, should take seriously. Risk increases as you age, and in the end, over a lifetime, a startling 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with this disease. But are there any good news? Yes, there are! Early detection is one of the best methods in fighting breast cancer.
Therefore I have one word for you today – PREVENTION!
So mothers, sisters, grandmothers, daughters, friends…be aware, and go get screened!
In this month filled with pink ribbons is the perfect time for little reminders, to help spread the word in time for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The more we thought about it, the more we realized there were probably many of you out there doing something to raise awareness for breast cancer and would benefit from having these Free Icons as well!
