Keeping your shop safe and secure is always a good thing, but its always good to have a backup plan. This article will show you the basics of backing up and restoring your osCommerce shop.
Basically this process, as with many applications, can be divided in two – backing up your files and your databases. For the files, the easiest way would be to use an FTP client to export them. Simply open an FTP connection to your account and download the osCommerce folder on your computer. You can learn more about FTP here.
