You can always check the current PHP version of your account from inside your cPanel with our services. Under the Software/Services tab there is a PHP icon called Select PHP Version. From inside you can not always change the version, but also view your current.
Alternatively, for full detailed statistics of your version you can use the phpinfo() function to check your account’s PHP settings.
