How to set an addon domain?

Addon domains are a great way to host multiple sites under the same account. Adding a domain as addon means that a certain subfolder under your public_html will be opened with an independent domain, which is different from your primary domain.

You can create an addon domain with just a few clicks. Just log into your cPanel > Addon Domains and type the domain for the new site. The next two fields Subdomain/FTP Username and Document Root will be filled in automatically, so all you need to do is enter a password and you will be all set!

If you have already created or moved the additional site in a subfolder under your public_html folder and you need to connect it with a domain name, you need to edit the field Document Root. All you have to do is type the name of the subfolder.

Otherwise, a folder with the same name, as the domain you add as an addon domain, will be created automatically and you need to upload the new site there.

Note: Addon Domains are not available on our Email Hosting and Face Standard Plans. Also, the domains you set as Addons have to be registered first.
