How to add product categories in WooCommerce?

Before you start adding your products, it is best to configure your Categories first. WooCommerce kept that task very easy so you can focus on more important things at hand (like making a profit 🙂 ).

You simply need to:

• Log into the WP backend panel
• On the left you choose Products and then Categories
• You have a simplified page where you just name your new Category, give it a slug, a short description and upload image if you wish. Page looks like that

Takes less than a minute to add a new Category. So for under 60 seconds you ensure better navigation and user experience – pretty sweet, huh 🙂
