How to install Magento manually?

If you wish to install Magento manually, without going through our one-click auto-installer, you have to:

1. Download Magento from its official website.
2. Upload the files on your hosting account – Public_html folder. To do so you may use an FTP client, for example FileZilla.
3. Create a new MySQL database.
4. Type in your domain in the browser address bar. This will load the Magento files.

Now you must follow a few straightforward steps to complete the installation:

Accepting the licenses is the first step.

Now we need to fill in basic location and currency settings and hit continue.

Enter your new MySQL database details (which we created in step 3) and hit continue.

Enter admin details and that is it, you are all set!
