Setting up SiteApps for Joomla is extremely quick and easy and can be done effortlessly from your Joomla Administrator panel with a few steps:
- First you have to download the SiteApps plugin for Joomla here
- Choose the appropriate version and download the .zip file but don’t unzip it
- Navigate to http://yourwebsite.com/administrator/index.php and log into your Joomla Administrator panel
- Go to Extensions -> Extensions Manager in the top navigation bar
- In the Install tab of the Extension Manager choose the .zip file you downloaded previously in the Upload Package File field and press Upload & Install
- After the installation is finished successfully go to Extensions -> Plug-in Manager
- Use the filter with keyword “siteapps” and click on the plugin’s name (System – SiteApps 4 Joomla)
- Change the Status to Enabled in the Details section
- After that, you only have to enter the SiteApps site ID in the Basic Options section and press Save
- The SiteApps site ID can be found in the Tag Configuration page of your SiteApps account
- For that you have to have an active SiteApps account and you should make sure the website is added in your SiteApps Dashboard
