Managing your products’ and pages’ Meta keywords, description, etc. in AbanteCart is unexpectedly easy. When adding products, categories or content pages, you can find some SEO fields you need to fill in. These are the Meta Tag Keywords, Meta Tag Description and the SEO Keyword. Search Engines will be going through them and using them to determine your ranking in the search results.
Here are some helpful guidelines about adding these details:

The Product name (Category name) will act as your Meta Title. It must be descriptive and related to the content but not longer than 70 characters.

The Meta Tag Description should accurately describe the product (category), include your main keywords and it should not be more than 160 characters long.

The Meta Tag Keywords are usually 2-3 words long, need to be descriptive and directly related to the product and its functions.
The SEO Keyword or the Friendly URL is extremely important as search engines first look at the url of the page and then everything else. You can write your own or use the product(category) name to generate one eg.: www.youstore.com/your-amazing-product
Adding Meta data for your store (or each of your stores) is also necessary if you desire high rankings and can again be easily accomplished from the Settings -> Details section in your AbanteCart administration panel.
