The Shared SSL, unlike the Private one, protects the whole server where your website is on, not just your particular webpage. To access your website through a Shared SSL you need to use:
https://servername.com/~yourUsername
You can find out what the servername for your account is from your Client Area -> My Accounts -> Manage.
If you wish your visitors to go to the Open SSL version of the site, you need to redirect all your links to the above link. Keep in mind that the URL of each redirected page will change to https://servername.com/~yourUsername. If you wish to avoid that, you need to add Private SSL, which is a paid Extra for the Email, Face Standard/Extra, Reseller and Face VPS 1 plans.
